Concerts & Theatre at Kentwell

Open Air Peformances

In summer 1982 Kentwell hosted its first Open Air Performance - of Shakespeare's The Tempest - and thereafter every year since has hosted Open Air Performances - whatever the weather.

We have three different areas where we put on performances. On the Front Lawns in front of the House (usually for concerts); on the Cedar Lawn to the east of the House (usually for Plays & Opera); and the across the Fishpond (usually for smaller more intimate performances).

For all open air performances the audience can enjoy supper.  Either by bringing their own picnic or by booking a Kentwell Buffet Supper (for a Play or Opera) or a Kentwell picnic in a basket (for Front Lawn Concerts, when we also usually have a Bar and a Grill).
