GHOST WALKS
Dates: Wednesday 24, Thursday 25, Monday 29 & Tuesday 30 October
Times: At 6.00pm and 8.00pm on the above nights only.
We shall again be hosting Ghost Walks. Patrick Phillips will take the tour round the various places outside and inside the House where strange phenomena (the earliest happenings date back to the 16th C., the most famous to at least 200 or more years ago and several more recently) have been reported. Last year, during one of the Walks something unexpected did apparently occur.
The Walks are not suitable for young children
You'll need a low power torch (we go round outside in the dark), stout shoes and waterproof, if wet.
Booking: Places on each Walk must be booked in advance by calling the Estate Office or booking on line. Please specify when booking which Walk on which day you wish to join. Numbers for each Walk are limited.
Cost: Adults £10.00, Children (under 16) £8.00

SCARESVILLE - THE HAUNTED TUDOR VILLAGE
An early visitor when we opened on Friday 26 described our Scary Stables Walkthrough as better than the London Dungeon. We've not visited there but hope that amounts to praise ! The Walkthrough is only part of the Scaresville experience.
In Tudor (& Stuart) times East Anglia was the scene of many alleged bewitchings. There were quite frequent trials of Witches and not a few of those convicted were hanged or burnt. It was in East Anglia, particularly Suffolk, where Mathew Hopkins, the dreaded Witchfinder General operated. Indeed part of the film of that name was made at Kentwell.
In our Scaresville village we shall re-create some of the superstition and horrors of that age.
As well, outside the Village area, we shall create one or two surprises of our own.
Not for the faint-hearted or Young Children
Dates: Friday 26, Saturday 27, Sunday 28 and Wednesday 31 October. Now extended to Friday 2 and Saturday 3 November. Times: 6.00pm till late. You may book on-line, to avoid queueing on night, or buy tickets at Gate
What to bring: Low power torch, stout footwear and waterproof if needed as much outside.
The House will not be Open at this time.
Booking: By calling the Estate Office or booking on-line
Cost: Adults £10.95, Children (under 16) £8.95 but for Friday 2 & Saturday 3 November prices reduced to Adults £8.00, Children (under 16) £6.00
