B & B in the Main House

As well as our grand honeymoon suite we also offer bed and breakfast accommodation in the main rooms of the house...or even bed without the breakfast. It's not often that you get to stay in an Elizabethan manor house.

Wedding family

These rooms are often used by close relatives of wedding couples to stay in on the night of the reception.

Historic charm

Two of the rooms have four-poster beds and ensuite bathrooms while the third room is a twin room. They are all decorated in traditional fashion and have traditional bathrooms (which means no showers).

The Victorian Room

This room still has its Victorian wallpaper and we have gathered together many items of Victorian furniture, lace and boudoir items.

The New Landscape Room

This room is often used for brides to change in, if holding a civil ceremony at Kentwell. A cosy room with a fantastic view and beautiful Elizabethan oak furniture this is one of our favourite rooms in the house.

The Chinese Room

This twin room is decorated with original Chinese furniture and paintings gathered when owner Patrick Phillips was working in Hong Kong. The room has its own fireplace and a beautiful view of the walled garden. There is a bathroom along the main corridor.
