Gardens & Farm only - May

Click here to BOOK TICKETS NOW!

The Gardens and Farm are open to view. On these days, the House will not be open.

In May, be sure to visit the Fernery, where the fronds are all extending with new growth. The wildflower meadows have taken over from the daffodils, softening the edges of the walks and providing a habitat for breeding wildlife. The long borders are swaying with ox-eye daisies and aquilegia, wonderful for cut flower posies.

Light lunches, tea and cake will be available from our Tea Room.

Kentwell holds many events throughout the season but many visitors find it a delight to visit when there is nothing extra on. They can then fully enjoy Kentwell's unrivalled romantic air and tranquillity.

Visit our Moat House, the service building of c1500 with Dairy, Bakehouse, Brewhouse, Stillroom and Solar as well as enjoying a tour of the main 16th Century manor house.

Our gardens are a pleasure to walk round at any time. The visitor is never far from water. Everywhere in the gardens the House provides a stunning backdrop just as the gardens provide the perfect setting for the House. For the more adventurous there are walks and trails into adjoining woods.

The farm buildings are of interest at any time. It is a working farm (not a Farm Park) with many of the animals usually to be seen in their natural setting some grazing in the paddocks and some in their housing. To see young animals it is best to come during lambing each year.

Below are the prices for the Gardens & Farm when there is no special event on and when the House is not open. Each special event has its own separate pricing. You can pre-book your tickets on-line, or come along without booking and pay in the Gift Shop.
