A Kentwell Christmas Wonderland

For over 30 years Kentwell has created Events.  From its Tudor Re-Creations to (recently) Scaresville; from Concerts & Music Festivals to WWII happenings.  Every Event making full use of the beautuful moated Hall, Gardens & Grounds. As a result Kentwell's reputation for originality and the quality of what it presents has spread far and wide.   

Kentwell has now decided to create a Christmas Fantasy.  For one long weekend in December (18 to 22) Kentwell will bring many Christmas related aspects alive.  As Christmas has become a time for children, the Kentwell Christmas Wonderland will bring children's fantasies to life.  The Hall will be presented as it was in Victorian times with a Victorian Family and their staff for the age when the modern Christmas was invented.  In the farm we shall create a Bethlehem stable.  We shall tell the story of Dickens's Christmas Carol with magical effects.  Children will be able to make Marzipan fruits with Mother Christmas and mince pies with the cook in the Bakehouse.  And create all sorts of other items to decorate their Christmas Tree.
