Scaresville - Half -time Briefing
Scaresville has gone very well. We have whole lot of new scares since last year. We adjust all the time and improve scares that don't work as well as we hope and were even adding new ones during the first week. The response has been very heartening. We have a procedure that enables those too frigtened to turn on a torch and then they will not be subjected to the worst of the scares some of which they can by-pass by taking the 'scaredy-cat' alternative route. Seen quite a lot of torches shining this year ! Also not a few who have found it too much and have cut out early. Yet others ask us to turn up the scares for another year. Probably the worst night for scares was last Wednesday when it was pouring with rain and the wind was howling and the low cloud cover made it very dark indeed. Lucky folk who came then though they and our people all got very wet.

Came last year and enjoyed it so much we decided to come back again this year and were pleased to find that the ante had been upped!! Many more scarers around and you were on tenterhooks the whole way through, not knowing where the next fright was coming from and the rolling fog across the fields all added to the atmosphere. A fantastic evening and very well organised. I haven't jumped or laughed so much in ages. I can't wait to see what they have in store for us next year. Excellent night, well done to everyone at Kentwell for all your efforts.
