Whit WWII Weekend & the Who-Dun-It Mystery
Submitted by pp on Thu, 28/05/2009 - 5:04pm.
A generally enjoyable weekend somewhat marred by low attendance on Whit Monday due, most seemed to think, by a deprssing forecast of cold and wet which did not materialize in this part of Suffolk. Unfortunately our weather forecasters make their blanket forecasts covering quite wide areas without regard to local variations or the harm they can cause Attractions such as Kentwell by bad weather forecast not materialising.
A number of visitors engaged over the weekend in attempting to investigate the WWII Mystery of the Poisoning of Kentwell staff and we hope had fun doing so.The little pack we produced included badges and Identity Cards to enrol them in the Auxiliary Police Force. Nearly all visitor investigators concentrated upon the obvious and did not consider other options. For those interested, the Resolution of the Mystery can be downloaded.
