Ghost Walks

In October 2008 we shall again be hosting a series of Ghost Walks. Patrick Phillips will take the tour round the various places outside and inside the House where strange phenomena have been reported. The earliest happenings date back to the 16th C., the most famous to at least 200 or more years ago (one of the earliest published Ghost Tales) and several more recently.  Last year (and also the year before) during one of the Walks something unexpected did apparently occur.

The Walks are not suitable for young children

You'll need a low power torch (we go round outside in the dark), stout shoes and waterproof, if wet.

Each Walk concludes in the Great Kitchen before a huge log fire and with a little something to sustain the departing visitor.

Booking

Places on each Walk must be booked in advance by calling the Estate Office or booking on line below. Numbers for each Walk are limited.
