Ceremonies

Civil Wedding Ceremonies

Couples may hold their civil ceremony in Kentwell's magnificent Great Hall which is fully licensed. This can be hired for the ceremony only, or as part of a fuller wedding reception. The room holds up to 126 people seated.

Own wedding ceremonies

We welcome couples wishing to devise their own ceremonies and have numerous romantic locations around the house and estate which could be used to hold ceremonies. Please consult us about suitable locations.

Wedding receptions

Kentwell is a simply beautiful and romantic location to hold a wedding reception. Whether its using our historic rooms, in our tranquil walled garden, drinks on the cedar lawn or a large sit down dinner in our timber framed Overcroft, we normally have a location to suite every idea.

Numbers

Kentwell can accommodate up to 240 people for Weddings with 160 able to sit down in our timber-framed Overcroft. Due to the nature of the space, with its varied sized rooms receptions at Kentwell work well in all sizes.

Catering

All catering is prepared in-house and to a high standard. The meat, where possible is from our Rare Breed, organically reared animals and the vegetables and all other food, is locally sourced.

Extras

At Kentwell we can cope with most things: such as late hours, dancing, fireworks, entertainers, exclusive use, arrival by parachute or helicopter etc...

Fireworks and Flares

As a send off, fireworks and flares look beautiful against the backdrop of the house.

Vintage Rolls Royce

Available for hire is Kentwell's own cream coloured 1931 Rolls Royce Limousine.

Accommodation

We can offer first night accommodation for the bride and groom in our grand honeymoon suite and for immediate family in historic rooms in the house. We also have a luxurious holiday let on the Kentwell estate that can sleep up to 13 people and a small cottage on the farm which offers more basic accommodation.

Suppliers

We prefer to work with quality suppliers whom we know and can utterly rely on. We take no commission but have peace of mind. We can recommend cake makers, florists, bands, photographers, DJs etc.
