An exclusive tour with Patrick Phillips, Kentwell's owner.  He will explain his approach to all works of restoration to the House and Moat House (and 800 yards of moat walls).  Also, his interest in, and building, the numerous 16th Century style structures he has created.  He has done more building at Kentwell than his 16th Century forebears ever did!  This event is limited to 30 tickets and must be pre-booked.  Please follow current social distancing guidance and regulations while visiting.

Join us at the tea garden for drinks, from 5pm.  Patrick will then take you on an interesting and informative tour around our buildings.

The 16th Century House and 15th Century Moat House are not open (due to current restrictions) but are attractive from every angle and still dominate the Gardens.  Their beauty and the usually still waters of the moats, disturbed only by fish and fowl, set the tone.  There is an aura of timelessness created by the mellow red brick, the water and the ancient trees, from our 1000 year old oak to a lawn guarded by England's most majestic cedars.

Please pre-book your tour (any time up to 10.30am on the day) and please arrive in good time.

Please note that advance booking is essential as we will be strictly limiting numbers on site.  We regret we will not be able to offer tickets to buy at the gate.

If you are Season Ticket holders, we are offering you a 10% discount for tickets to this tour.  Please pre-book.

Virus Precautions:  Visitors must follow the tour and observe current social distancing guidelines.  Please bring gloves and hand sanitiser, and wear lower face coverings if you choose.  Please do not attend if you are suffering from, or displaying any symptoms of, Coronavirus, or if you have recently been in contact with someone who has had symptoms or tested positive for Coronavirus.

Facilities: the loos near the Tea Garden area will be available for use.

Dogs: no dogs, except guide dogs, are permitted within the grounds.

Cancellations and refunds: Should Government action at any time cause us to close, we will, of course, refund any tickets purchased for any affected days.  Otherwise, we operate a no-refunds policy.  Tickets are not transferrable to other days, or to other events.  Please always check our website before travelling, in case circumstances or Government Advice has changed.
