IT IS ESSENTIAL THAT YOU PRE-BOOK TICKETS FOR THIS EVENT
From sorcery and trickery to alchemy and fairies, come for a day of interactive magical family fun in the Enchanted Gardens at Kentwell.
The House itself will not be open - the magic will be spread out among our 30 acres of gardens and grounds, with a surprise around every corner. Kentwell's Gardens are extensive and provide quiet space for comfortable relaxation in beautiful surroundings. Visitors should have little problem in keeping socially distant from others!
The event this year will be different in format from our previous Magic Weekends, due to current restrictions and regulations. However, the Ministry for Magic can confirm that it will still be a fun day out for the whole family! Why not add to the fun and dress your little witches, wizards, elves, pixies and fairies up for their visit?
Booking: you must book entry in advance via this website (before 10.30am on the day of your visit) so we know that you are coming and we have your full contact details. We will limit the number of people on site each day.
If you are a current Gold Season Ticket holder, please also book entry in advance via this website.
If you have not pre-booked and we reach our maximum numbers, we may not be able to let you in.
Please always check our website before travelling, in case circumstances or Government advice has changed.
Covid and Social Distancing: Kentwell's gardens are now open to pre-booked visitors on selected days. All visitors must follow current social distancing guidelines, and follow the specific instructions for the one-way route around the gardens. We will publish precautions and rules for guidance. We ask all visitors to bring their own gloves and hand sanitiser. You are welcome to wear masks or face-coverings.
Opening Times: entry will be from 11am until 1pm, with bookable start-time bands, with numbers limited in each time-band. Once you have entered, you are welcome to stay for the rest of the day until we close at 5pm.
Refreshments: we are pleased to offer refreshments as a take-out service, for our visitors to enjoy outdoors. We have tea, coffee, cake and ice creams, as well as home-cooked savoury cold snacks. We also have a selection of cold drinks and bottled water.
Facilities: the loos near the tearoom area will be available for use, on a one-out/one-in basis. We ask all visitors to wash their hands upon entering as well as leaving these facilities.
The Weather: we will open whatever the weather and your visit can certainly fill a rewarding few hours. Please dress appropriately for the weather!
Accessibility: the majority of the gardens are accessible by wheelchair in good weather, via good pathways and firm, lawned or mown grass tracks.
Dogs: no dogs, except guide dogs, are permitted within the grounds - sorry.
