Snowdrops & spring bulbs

The perfect day out this Spring

"A breath of fresh air..."

Stop Press: Sat 7 March: We have lambs!  Our official Lambing Days begin on Sat 14 March, but we have a few early arrivals for you to meet!  Two sets of twins were born overnight, and lots more on the way.  Also, our Senior Gardener, Peter, will be in the gardens On Sat 7 and Sun 8 March, ready for you to challenge him with your gardening questions!

Spring  is a lovely time to visit Kentwell's Gardens.  The Shrubbery and Back Wood are carpeted with Snowdrops, with little pockets of Aconites.  The rest of the Gardens are charming as their winter starkness is banished by emerging springtime shoots.   Winter scented plants such as mahonia, sarcoma and hellebore also make an appearance.

We recommend you dress for the weather - our pathways can become a little muddy after prolonged rainy periods.  However, this is  great news for our younger visitors, as it means there are puddles galore!

The Nature Hunt Wellie Walk will take your family on a fun adventure to explore the shrubbery, the woods and the gardens.

Coronavirus Information and Precautions: We plan to open on all advertised days.  Our site follows the personal hygiene government advice, and we encourage all visitors to follow this advice, to protect themselves and others.
