The ultimate time travel
History Festival
Over 2,000 years of history in one day — Friday, 24th May 2024
The Home Educators’ Day is reserved solely for families who home-educate their children!
The Festival presents aspects of everyday life from the past. Encounter pockets of different eras brought to life by Kentwell’s skilled living historians, spread throughout the buildings, gardens, farm and woodlands. They are not just actors but behave, talk and do like living persons from that era. For visitors especially children its like them meeting figures from the past able to answer any questions about their everyday existence.
This fully-immersive day will create memories and experiences which will stay with children for many a day. They should be enjoying themselves so they don't realise they are learning.
