The Perfect Wedding Venue for Your Perfect Day!

At Kentwell every wedding truly is unique, planned in collaboration with you to ensure that it is everything you've ever dreamt it to be.

An exquisite venue for any wedding

Kentwell is set in over 30 acres of its own gardens and parkland offering you a distinctive atmosphere for your wedding day.

The House

The Drawing Room is a beautiful, intimate setting for a traditional ceremony, with a drinks reception and photographs afterwards in the Garden.  It can accommodate 30 guests for ceremonies, suitably socially-distanced.  Your main, seated reception and celebration could then be in the Overcroft or in a Marquee in a paddock adjacent to the Gardens.

The Overcroft

This is a stunning first floor barn-style room - oak floored and timber-framed - in the nearby Old Stableyard within an easy walking distance from the House. It has an outdoor terrace, overlooking the farm paddocks.  The indoor space is 120ft long and is suitable for up to a maximum of 160 guests for dining and dancing and it has a small stage at one end.  It is also licensed for ceremonies for up to 120 guests.

The overcroft can be used in conjunction with the House or can be hired separately.

The Barns

The Barnsward is nestled on the Kentwell Hall Estate and offers a romantic and rustic setting; perfect for less formal weddings and festival-style celebrations.

The Great Barn has a bower for the Bride and Groom and the registrar, while guests watch the ceremony from the outside.

The Merchants Hall (first floor room) is licensed for ceremonies up to 100 guests, or can be used to seat up to 100 guests for dining.  It has a small balcony with views over the paddocks and parkland.

The Alehouse, below the Merchants Hall, is the perfect place for a bar and dancing under the stars!

The Woodland Retreat is ideal for a rustic wedding blessing.

Overnight camping is possible for weddings and celebrations at the Barns area.

Wedding ceremonies at Kentwell Hall

Kentwell offers an exclusive location for your wedding and can be hired for the ceremony or reception only, or as part of a full wedding day.

The Holy Trinity Church

The Holy Trinity Church is a medieval English church with a Perpendicular Gothic style; built in the late 1400s by the Clopton family who built Kentwell Hall. The church is situated at the bottom of Kentwell avenue and can be seen across the parkland. This offers the possibility of walking back from the church to the manor — or via a traditional horse drawn carriage or vintage car.

Have it your way

Some couples find their own devised ceremony more meaningful and we welcome those who wish to have it their own way. Kentwell offers numerous romantic locations in the gardens which have been used to hold such ceremonies. Anything is possible and limited only by the couple’s imagination.
