The House, Gardens and Farm, when there is no special event, are OPEN to visit from April through to October on Wednesday through to Sunday from 11am to 5pm during school holidays but otherwise may close at 4pm.

The house usually closes an hour before the Gardens close..

One of England’s finest and most beautiful Tudor Houses, surrounded by a broad fish-filled moat. Original Tudor service areas little altered. Acquired as a lifetime project in 1970 when costs deterred all others. Main rooms improved in Gothic style in 1825 enhanced idiosyncratically since 1971 by the current owners. The extensive family friendly Gardens are enjoyable in every season.
