By train
The nearest train station is Sudbury, Suffolk, about 4 miles (6.4km) from the Kentwell gates.
(The Avenue up to the House is 1km long)
Visit National Rail Enquiries for times and fares.
By bus
Bus numbers 41, 42, 43, 43A, 43B, X43 & 45 run from Sudbury to Bury St Edmunds stopping in Long Melford.
Some stop in High Street by The Hare Inn or by The Black Lion on the Green. Most stop by The Bull, then you will need to walk up to Kentwell (c.25 mins).

By car
There is free visitor parking at the top of the Kentwell Avenue.
For disabled visitors, there is more accessible parking closer to the entrance at the top of the Avenue. Please look for the blue signs.
