Vacancies at Kentwell
Become part of the Team
Join our Team!
Although we do not currently have any full-time employed positions available, there are a number of exciting opportunities to become involved with Kentwell through volunteering and part-time work.
Volunteers for Events
Participants in all our period costume and special events including marshalling for Kentwell Gardens Lit in the autumn are volunteers.
Our principal living history events focus on the Tudor and Victorian periods, though we welcome interest in other historical eras. Taking part as a costumed participant at Kentwell is both rewarding and demanding. Those selected join a remarkable community of around 700 dedicated and like-minded individuals, some of whom have been involved for decades.
We recruit new participants each Spring. Applicants are required to attend an Open Day at Kentwell.
For application details please contact: volunteers@kentwell.co.uk
Volunteers in the Kentwell Gardens
We warmly welcome volunteers of all ages to assist in the Kentwell Gardens.
Whether you can offer a half day, a full day, or more each week, your help is greatly appreciated. This is a wonderful opportunity to work outdoors in beautiful surroundings, develop practical skills, and contribute to the ongoing care of our historic estate.
Part-Time Tea Room Staff (Paid)
We occasionally recruit keen and reliable individuals to join our Tea Room team on a part-time basis.
Applications are welcomed from school leavers as well as mature applicants who enjoy working in a visitor-facing environment and being part of a friendly, supportive team
Scarers at Scaresville
Each October, Scaresville transforms Kentwell into an immersive and theatrical fright experience.
If you are interested in becoming a Scarer and being part of this unique seasonal event, please visit the dedicated Scaresville website:
