Experience the world of Tudor England as it would have been in the summer of 1553
While more intimate than Kentwell’s famous large-scale living history productions, Tudor Life 1553 offers an authentic and engaging, smaller experience. It’s the perfect opportunity to experience Kentwell’s award-winning living history before the spectacular Tudor Midsummer event begins the following week.
Unlike a static museum display, Tudor Life 1553 is a fully interactive experience. Every person you meet has a story to tell, every building has a purpose, and every activity reflects the daily lives of the people who lived during one of England’s most fascinating periods.
As you explore the manor house, outbuildings and beautiful grounds, you’ll meet Tudors from every walk of life. Watch skilled craftspeople at work, hear period music drifting through the gardens, discover traditional cooking and household tasks, and chat with the fascinating characters who bring history vividly to life.
Your visit also includes entry to Kentwell Hall itself, together with its extensive family-friendly gardens and picturesque parkland, making this a wonderful day out for visitors of all ages.
£2 extra paying at the Gate.
